M/Y La Pinta Itinerary: 8 Days--Friday to Friday

  • Friday:  Baltra Airport.  North Seymour Island
  • Saturday: Fernandina-Pta Espinoza. Isabela-Pta Moreno
  • Sunday:  Floreana-Post Office Bay.  Floreana-Pta Cormorant   
  • Monday:  Rabida Island. Santa Cruz- Las Bachas  
  • Tuesday:  Santa Cruz-Highlands.  Pto. Ayora & Charles Darwin Research Station
  • Wednesday:  Santiago Island-Sullivan Bay.  Santiago Island-Pto. Egas    
  • Thursday: San Cristobal- Interpretation Center + Highlands. San Cristobal-Cerro Brujo
  • Friday: Departure Baltra Airport

2008 Rates per person/based on double cabin:  $4392

  •  Note:  A fuel surcharge of $203 per person will be applied to all travelers.

Peak Season conditions

  • March 17-23 and Dec 22, 2008-Jan 4, 2009
  • A surcharge of $125 per adult and $100 per child will be added to the cruise rate
  • No discounts apply

Children's Activities: Our “Young Pirates” program allows children, 7 to 12 years old, to fully absorb Galapagos --at their own pace.    Young guests will enjoy a different educational approach, with “children only” activities, special meals, interpretative recreational material and books. Our goal is that everyone can thoroughly enjoy this natural paradise, appreciate the efforts for its conservation and fully participate in all planned activities.

Children’s Policy:  Children under 12 sharing cabin with parents 25% discount (one child per adult paying full fare). Minimum age 6 years

Single Cabins: 

  • $4500 (only 3 cabins available for single occupancy)
  • Other cabins available at 100% surcharge of per person/double cabin rate

Communication:  Internet access available on board

Payments on board:  Cash, travelers checks, VISA, Mastercard or American Express accepted. A tab is run during the trip, payment handled on the last day.

Galapagos National Park Tax: A park fee of $100 per person will be charged to all passengers. Children under 12 years by $50.

Migration Control Card: A $10 per person fee is charged to all passengers. This card is issued when you depart for Galapagos, and you will need to show it prior to your return flight to the mainland.

Airline tickets:  You will need to consider airline tickets from Quito (or Guayaquil) to Galapagos and return. These flights are automatically reserved with your tour reservation. Low season rates are valid between May 1 to June 14, and Sep 15 to Oct 31.

  • Quito departures:  High Season $425; Low Season $370
  • Guayaquil departures:  High Season $375; Low Season $330
  • Children under 12 discount:  approximately 50%

Transfers to Galapagos flights: Group airport transfers will be provided from & to the following hotels, with prior arrangement.

  • Quito: Hilton Colon, Swissotel, Marriott & Dann Carlton
  • Guayaquil: Hilton Colon, Oro Verde, Hampton Inn
