M/Y Sky Dancer Itinerary: 8 Days--Sunday to Sunday
- Sunday: Arrival San Cristobal Airport. Isla Lobos (check-out dive)
- Monday: North Seymour. Bartolome Island (land visit)
- Tuesday: Wolf Island
- Wednesday: Darwin Island
- Thursday: Wolf & Darwin Island
- Friday: Cape Marshall. Santiago-Pto. Egas (land visit)
- Saturday: Gordon Rocks. Santa Cruz-Charles Darwin Research Station, Pto. Ayora (land visit)
- Sunday: San Cristobal-Interpretation Center. Departure San Cristobal Airport
This Itinerary includes 19 dives, 2 night dives, 4 land visits and 1 snorkeling excursion. This is a "Sample Itinerary Only."
2008 Rates per person/based on double cabin
- Deluxe Stateroom: $3495
- Master Stateroom: $3695
- Note: A fuel surcharge of $160 per person will be applied to all travelers.
Additional itineraries: 11 day and 15 day itineraries are occasionally offered, and are avaialble for charters.
Children’s Policy:
- Children 10 and older are allowed only if they are certified divers.
- If non divers, children must be 16 years of age or older.
- Full time students with proper identification are eligible to receive a 10% student discount.
Share Policy: Same gender willing to share requests are available in either cabin category.
Single Supplement: Single passengers who prefer not to share with a same -gender passenger, must pay a 65% supplement of the applicable cabin rate.
Non-diver discount: Non divers traveling on a live aboard with a diver are eligible for a 10% reduction in the rate.
Senior Divers: Divers age 59 and older are eligible for a 10% reduction with proof of age.
Hyperbaric chamber fee: Located in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz, a hyperbaric chamber has the most recent technology and trained professional medics to treat dive related illness. Current fee of $35 is added for each diver, subject to change.
Dive equipment: Divers are required to bring their own dive equipment, including: Mask, fins and snorkel, Regulator, depth and pressure gauges, bottom timer or dive watch Buoyancy compensator device (BCD), Dry suit or thick wet suit (1/4" or 5-7mm), hood and gloves, Flashlight and chemical light sticks (for night dives), Open water diving certification. Optional items: Underwater camera, video camera, dive computer.
Communication: Satellite phone communication available for outgoing calls only. Charges apply.
Payments on board: Cash, travelers checks, VISA, Mastercard or American Express are accepted. A tab is run during the trip, payment handled on the last day.
Galapagos National Park Tax: A park fee of $100 per person will be charged to all passengers. Children under 12 years by $50.
Migration Control Card: A $10 per person fee is charged to all passengers. This card is issued when you depart for Galapagos, and you will need to show it prior to your return flight to the mainland.
Airline tickets: You will need to consider airline tickets from Quito (or Guayaquil) to Galapagos and return. These flights are automatically reserved with your tour reservation. Low season rates are valid between May 1 to June 14, and Sep 15 to Oct 31.
